Dennis Itumbi, has pledged to share his salary with Kafengo, a close friend and fellow comedian of the late Zakaria Kariuki, popularly known as KK Mwenyewe.
This follows the sudden death of KK Mwenyewe, renowned for his humorous impersonations of former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
He passed on while receiving medical attention at Kiambu Level 5 Hospital.
Kafengo, who was by his friend’s side during his final moments, shared the heartbreaking news and has since been vocal about supporting the late comedian’s family.
Just met Kafengo, sharp mind, solid guy with a degree in Mathematics with Computing. Expect algebra-level precision as he tackles real challenges in the content creation world.

Itumbi described Kafengo as a "sharp mind" with a degree in Mathematics with Computing, praising his potential to bring "algebra-level precision" to the content creation world.
“He’s teaming up with Mike (his videographer) to build new platforms with us. For now, we will share my salary, and they will still run their hustle independently. Karibu sana!” Itumbi wrote, extending a warm welcome to the young talent.
This comes barely a week after Itumbi faced a cold reception from a section of mourners during the funeral of the late comedian.
Itumbi had begun by mentioning the interventions the government has taken to safeguard content creation, urging creators to group into one entity and safeguard their finances.
His speech was cut short shortly thereafter.
Itumbi also used the moment to announce that Kafengo would soon receive a job opportunity that would be geared towards improving the state of digital content creation in the country.
