• Blow warm air into the affected ear using a hair dryer that has been set on low mode.
• For pain relief, pour two to three drops of warm olive or garlic oil to the ear and hold it back with cotton wool.
• If water is trapped in your ear, gently shake your head to expel water and put one to two drops of rubbing alcohol into the ear to help the water evaporate.
• To get the soothing feeling to ease pain, you are advised to take a hand towel, soak in warm water wring and place against the affected ear.
• Mix cloves of garlic with mustard oil, then heat: Apply two to four drops of the mixture into the ear using a cotton swab.
• For gripping ear pain put some drops of warm onion juice.
