Medium pace bowler Thomas Odoyo has been ruled out of the national cricket team preparing for three international fixtures.
The experienced bowler-cum-middle order batsman is nursing an injury.
Kenya’s first assignment is the Intercontinental Cup fixture against Scotland at Nairobi Gymkhana on January 25-28.
Next on schedule is the Twenty20 Tri-Series involving Kenya, Scotland and Uganda at the same venue from January 30 to February 4. Cricket Kenya said the tournament is intended to give Kenya warm-up matches ahead of the World Twenty20 qualifier.
The national team is scheduled to depart for Dubai on February 5 for the qualifying round where they play Netherlands, United Arabs Emirates and Canada.
Following Odoyo’s absence, selectors have included Seren Waters in the team to represent Kenya at the Intercontinental Cup fixture.
