Meanwhile Thika Sports Club's David Matano carded 32 points in flooring a strong field of 256 golfers to emerge the overall winner of his home club's leg of the NCBA Golf Series golf tournament played on the same day at the Club course.
Handicap 6 Simon Ndung'u was the Men's winner on 31 points while handicap 11 Eng. K Chege who scored 27 points settled for the runners up slot.
Naomi Kimata playing off handicap 13 won the Lady's title on 27 points and coming in second was Winnie Mugo with 19 points.
The Junior prize was won by handicap 18 Garcia Kimemia on 28 points while Ndegwa Thuku and Lucy maina were the Longest drive men and lady winners respectively.

This event marked the fourth leg of the series, which commenced in March of this year, attracting avid golfers from across the region and is one of the ongoing serving as a platform to promote the sport of golf across the East African region.
And at Kakamega Golf Club Chairman Dr.Catherine Aura led her team of Ronald Omondi, Beatrice Otieno, and Derek Mwaura carded a combined score of 114 points, to clinch the overall title at the 5th leg of the KCB East Africa Golf Tour, played at the Club's 9-hole course on Saturday.
The team now qualifies to participate in the tour's grand finale slated for November this year at the Karen Country Club in Nairobi.
"This is a well-deserved win for us. Throughout the last week, we had been practicing as a team to sharpen our skills and get ready for the series. I can say teamwork and our passion for the game worked for us. I know we will be up against the creme de la creme in the grand finale, so we must go back to practicing and playing more to be able to compete at the highest level come November, "said Aura on behalf of the team.
Sanjiv Walias, Dr. Protus Oketch, Justus Oyiengo and Logan Busolo with a combined total of 110 points emerge second and will also participate in the grand finals.
The series that brought together a field of 100 golfers from different golf courses in the country saw handicap 25 golfer Ondino Abubakar card an impressive score of 41 stable ford points to be crowned the Individual overall winner.
Handicap 19 Lydia Oketch carded 35 stable ford points to win the lady winner prize while E. Mbakaya playing off handicap 23 won the men winner award after carding 35 stable ford points.
Geoffrey Yego who earlier booked a slot in the grand finale of the tour during the 4th leg of the series won the longest drive prize in the men category while Dr. Irine Ashioya won the longest drive award in the ladies' category.
Dharama Sharma playing off handicap 19 returned 35 points to win the guest prize while handicap 25 Eliud Siganga won the staff winner on 34 points.
KCB hosted an introductory golf clinics yesterday on Sunday at the Club targeted at ladies and junior golfers followed by a tree planting session at the same venue.
The clinics which are aimed at growing the reach of the sport of golf in the country, have so far reached over 300 participants.
Action now moves to the sixth leg of the Tour scheduled to be held at the Nyanza Golf Club from June 9-11th.
