Rapper Nyashinski became the centre of attention at a high-profile wedding in Kiambu County after delivering an energetic live performance that got guests on their feet.

‎Videos shared online showed the musician dancing smoothly with the newlyweds, leaving many fans excited on social media.

‎The wedding was for Tracy, daughter of former Cabinet Secretary Charles Keter, and her groom, Robin Bett.

‎The ceremony took place on Friday, in a beautifully decorated indoor hall with chandeliers and greenery.
‎
‎Nyashinski, dressed in a brown suit, black shirt, and tie, performed at the reception and joined Tracy and Robin on the dance floor.
‎
‎The groom wore a black tuxedo with a bow tie, while the bride looked elegant in a white gown.
‎
‎Guests cheered as the three danced together, creating one of the most memorable moments of the celebration.
‎
‎The event also attracted several well-known political leaders, including Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika, Senator Aaron Cheruiyot, Nelson Koech, and ODM politician Opiyo Wandayi.
‎
‎Despite the presence of many prominent guests, it was Nyashinski’s performance and dance moves that quickly spread across social media.
‎
‎‎Nyashinski, whose real name is Nyamari Ongegu, is one of Kenya’s most respected musicians.
‎
‎He first became famous as a member of the hip-hop group Kleptomaniax, which he formed in 1999 with Roba and Collo while they were students at Nairobi School.
‎
‎‎After the group’s early success, Nyashinski moved to the United States, where he lived in Delaware and worked as a truck driver for about ten years.
‎
‎He returned to Kenya in 2016 and restarted his music career as a solo artist.
‎
‎‎His comeback was highly successful. He released popular songs such as “Mungu Pekee” and “Malaika,” and later released his first solo album, Lucky You, in 2020.
‎
‎His ability to blend rap, singing, and meaningful storytelling has helped him remain a major name in Kenyan and East African music.
‎‎
‎Nyashinski is married to fashion designer Zia Jepkemei Bett. The couple held a traditional wedding in Nandi County in November 2019, followed by a private church wedding at Nairobi Chapel in December 2021.‎
‎
‎The two are known for keeping their family life mostly private, even though Nyashinski is a public figure.
‎
‎They have children together, and the singer often speaks about the importance of personal growth, family, and building a lasting legacy through music.
