Nameless has cancelled three scheduled performances in Nakuru, Nanyuki and Nairobi after falling ill, leaving fans disappointed as he takes time to recover.
He disclosed that he had been battling a high fever, extreme weakness, a cough and loss of voice over the past few days, making it difficult for him to perform or travel.
"I've been feeling quite unwell over the couple of days and despite doing everything I could to get better this weekend, I am struggling with high fever, extreme weakness, a cough and loss of voice making it impossible for me to perform this weekend."
The 'Butterfly' hitmaker apologised to fans who had anticipated watching him perform during the weekend.
"To everyone planning to catch me at Ease XO Nakuru tonight, 16 Oct, I'm truly sorry. We will announce new sages for me to come as soon as possible."
Nameless had been scheduled to perform at Wave XO in Nakuru on Friday, October 16, before travelling to Nanyuki and Nairobi for two shows on Saturday, October 17.
He was expected to entertain fans at the Loop Safari Series in Nanyuki on Saturday afternoon, followed by a performance at Kettle House in Nairobi later in the evening.
Explaining his absence from the Nanyuki show, the singer said he was not well enough to travel and take to the stage, expressing regret over disappointing fans who had made plans to attend.
He also apologised to those who had looked forward to seeing him perform in Nairobi, assuring them that he valued their continued support.
“I never take your support for granted, and I can’t wait to make it up to you very soon,” he said.
The singer indicated that new dates would be communicated for the affected performances, with arrangements for the Nakuru show expected to be announced as soon as possible.
His decision to cancel the engagements comes as he prioritises his health after efforts to recover in time for the busy weekend proved unsuccessful.
