Zendaya once again proved why she is the queen of method dressing, turning heads in a dramatic spider-inspired ensemble at the Los Angeles premiere of Spider-Man: Brand New Day on Monday, July 27.
The 29-year-old actress embraced the film's superhero theme in a striking gown from Ashi Studio's Fall 2026 collection.
The sculptural design featured a daring plunging neckline and intricate details inspired by a spider's pedipalps, creating a bold fashion statement that perfectly suited the occasion.
She completed the look with pointed black Christian Louboutin heels featuring subtle spider detailing.
Her accessories included Maison Boucheron's Lavalliere Diamants pendant earrings from the Histoire de Style, Art Déco High Jewellery collection, crafted with diamonds set in white gold, onyx, and black lacquer.
Zendaya styled her hair in a sleek ponytail, with slicked strands framing her forehead, while a dramatic smoky eye completed the theatrical look.
The ensemble was curated by her longtime stylist, Law Roach.
Her hairstylist, Ursula Stephen, created the polished finish using Moroccanoil's Treatment Original, Sculpting Pomade, Curl Control Mousse, Styling Gel Strong, and Luminous Hairspray Strong.
"We wanted to be super intentional for this premiere, so our inspiration for this look was a spider," Stephen said in a statement.
On the red carpet, Zendaya was joined by her husband, Tom Holland, who reprises his role as Peter Parker, also known as Spider-Man. Holland, 30, complemented the evening's theme in a maroon suit paired with a bright red shirt and navy tie, echoing the superhero's signature colours.
The premiere appearance is the latest in Zendaya's string of standout fashion moments while promoting the new Spider-Man film.
During a June 25 photo call in London, she wore a rare archival John Galliano gown from the designer's Spring 1997 collection, featuring an embellished spiderweb design across the back.
Zendaya returns as Michelle "MJ" Jones-Watson in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
The film is also the second project this year in which she stars alongside Holland, following Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, which premiered on July 17.
The couple recently delighted fans during a Spider-Man event at the Aztlan Feria de Chapultepec amusement park in Mexico. While posing with director Destin Daniel Cretton, Holland was seen glancing at Zendaya and blowing her an air kiss, which she returned with a smile, a moment that quickly went viral.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to premiere in theatres on July 31.
