Comedian and content creator David Oyando, popularly known as Mulamwah, has opened up about his strained relationship with fellow entertainer Oga Obinna, saying the two are unlikely to reconcile anytime soon.
Speaking on the 1M Podcast hosted by Tony Mwirigi, Mulamwah said there is no bad blood between them, but their values and outlook on life no longer align.
"Simchukii, ni vile values zangu na zake hazipelekani. Vibes haziendani," he said.
According to Mulamwah, their fallout is rooted in differences in principles and character rather than personal animosity.
The comedian revealed that he has blocked Obinna and has no intention of working with him again.
He said the disconnect between them has reached a point where communication and future collaborations are no longer possible.
Mulamwah also dismissed the possibility of the two crossing paths in future, saying they no longer share any common interests or goals.
"Sidhani kama tunaweza kukutana kwa sababu hatuna kitu ya pamoja ambayo inaweza kutufanya tukutane," he said.
Illustrating the extent of their estrangement, Mulamwah jokingly said he would not even board the same plane as Obinna.
"Mimi siwezi panda ndege moja na Obinna. Yeye aende tu kwanza, alafu mimi nitaenda na ingine," he remarked.
His comments come amid growing public interest in the status of their relationship, given their past collaborations and friendship within Kenya's entertainment scene.
While Mulamwah did not disclose the specific cause of the fallout, he suggested the rift stems from deeper personal differences rather than a single incident.
Despite ruling out any future partnership, he maintained that he holds no grudge against Obinna and views their separation as a result of incompatible values and differing life perspectives.
Obinna has yet to make a rebuttal on the comedian's comments.
