Kenyan gospel artiste and Dr Timothy Kitui.

Kenyan gospel artiste and educationist Dr Timothy Kitui has been appointed as a talent envoy for the World Federation of the Gifted and Talented Children. He becomes the first musician in Africa to be appointed as a talent ambassador of such stature.

The artiste sings predominantly in Luhya dialect and goes by the brand Litungu Gospel Vibes - a brand that is anchored on his traditional harp commonly known as 'Litungu', a Luhya traditional instrument. He is also the lead pastor at JCC Thika.

His success in music has seen him perform in many countries around the world.

He has also been nominated and bagged awards such as; RIGA Awards South Africa - Male Gospel Artist of the Year in Africa (Traditional Category) - 2016, Safaricom Groove Awards - Song of the Year Western Counties 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2019, Mwafaka Awards - The Most Promising Artist of the Year 2015, Extreme Teeniez Awards 2017 and Mwafaka Awards - Video of the Year 2016.

"For the first time I have found the intersection between my education, career, talent and ministry" Dr Kitui said.
