Flamboyant singer and businesswoamn Esther Akoth aka Akothee has taken to social media to state that she is single.
Through her instastories, Madam Boss, as she is popularly referred to, revealed that her boyfriend had dumped her, adding that relationships should not be taken 'too personally'.
“Nimeachwa imagine. I am single again. Hii relationship usichukulie personal,” she wrote in part.
According to her, the boyfriend packed and left without an explanation.
“Do you remember when I told you I am taken! Well till death do us part just packed and left! I am single again guys. The road to relationship [sic] is always under construction,” she added.

Akothee has been in a relationship with her manager Nelly Oaks for some time and recently, the Abebo hitmaker took to social media to pen an open letter to him.
In the letter, she showered him with praise and expressed her gratitude to him for standing by her side when she was unwell and admitted to hospital. She further prayed for blessings upon him and referred to him as a loving and caring husband.
"I will still choose you KING in any other given chances. Thank you, Lord, for the gift of life and a loving husband, I have nothing to give baba Elizabeth @nellyoaks may God bless you abundantly for taking my b*sH**t," she wrote in part.
Nelly is yet to publicly comment on the matter. It remains to be seen whether this is another act of clout chasing from Kenyan celebrities.
