Pascal Tokodi and Grace Ekirapa expecting their first baby.

Celebrated actor Pascal Tokodi and his wife, TV host Grace Ekirapa, announced that they are expecting their first child together. The couple, who shared the good news with their fans on Instagram, posted photos from a baby bump shoot and expressed their happiness.

An excited Tokodi couldn't hide his joy as he prepped to become a father.

"A place in my heart that I never knew was empty, has been filled," wrote Pascal Tokodi, accompanied with prayer hands and family emojis.

The soon-to-be mother also expressed her gratitude and sent out new year wishes to her fans.

"The Lord continues to Perfect all that concerns our lives and it is beautiful in our eyes. This is a story we shall tell one day. Happy New Year from our growing Family," wrote Grace Ekirapa.

The pregnancy news comes slightly over a year after the couple got married.

Through social media, Tokodi recalled how he met Grace at a coffee shop and how smitten he was at first sight, saying it was his first-time seeing her in person.

"On a certain 4th, you walked in a certain Java. It was my first time seeing you in person and I remember staring at you as you looked for a place to sit. You should have seen how wide my smile was when you chose the seat next to me," he wrote in part.

Sharing details of their first in-person meet-up, Pascal revealed that Grace's presence made him speechless.

"You ordered pancakes, pulled out your laptop and started working. I, on the other hand sat there looking at you wondering how I was going to make the first move. For a guy who usually has a lot to say, I was speechless that day, you must have noticed because you looked up and smiled at me, I smiled back and that was the beginning of everything for me," he wrote.

From time to time, Grace has taken to social media to publicly declare how deeply in love she is with her husband.

"It's in the way you look at me and tell me I am okay even when the storms are soo harsh. It's in the way you stroke my hair as I drift to sleep just for me to know that you are present. It's in the kisses you blow my way and the winks in a crowd that keeps me glued to the direction that you are in no matter how far. I knew I wanted something but God knew I NEEDED YOU. You are my one and only. I made it through the waves because you held my hand. I Love you My Babie @pascaltokodi Thank You for being My ALWAYS AND FOREVER" wrote Grace Ekirapa.
