Nigerian singer David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido is known to handsomely reward those loyal and close to him. This time round the 29-year-old Jowo hitmaker has once again gifted a brand-new car to his aide.

In a viral video across social media, the aide - identified as Israel DMW (real name Afeare Israel Better), could not hide his joy as the singer handed him the keys to his brand-new car.

"I am now a car owner o! Oga thank you sir,” said an emotional Israel.

According to reports, Davido bought the new Toyota Venza for his logistics manager as a sign of appreciation of his services.

His sign of appreciation comes barely three months after he donated cash bequeathed to him by his fans for his birthday to orphanages in Nigeria. Through social media, the award-winning singer revealed that he had managed to raise over NGN250million (Sh68million) through a drive that lasted just over two days.

According to him, his passion for giving back to society was the determining factor on what he was planning to do with the money that he jokingly asked his fans to send him as he marked his 29th birthday. He further added that he had received a total of Sh54million from friends.

“The committee will compile a list of orphanages across Nigeria. They will determine the number of children and their needs at each orphanage and then divide the funds accordingly. To maintain transparency, the committee will make public the names of the beneficiary orphanages and how much each will receive,” wrote Davido.

While announcing the news, Davido went on to promise that he will be organizing fundraisers every year to celebrate his birthday and give back to people in need.

“It is my hope that my friends, fans, colleagues in the industry, and the public will continue to support me as I drive this cause,” added Davido.

In December 2021, the award-winning artiste announced that he has officially opened his new mansion in Banana Island area of Lagos, Nigeria.

“I open my new house today! 2022 all blessings. Amen!” he tweeted.
