Nigerian superstar David Adedeji Adeleke alias Davido has today October 20 welcomed his first child with fiancé Chioma Avril Rowland.
According to an announcement by Davido on Twitter to his over 5.5 million followers, his son David Adedeji Adeleke Jr. was born on Sunday morning.
The excited singer who is estimated to be worth over 14 million dollars tweeted, “Omoba ti de! David Adedeji Adeleke Jr! D prince is here! 20 - 10 - 2019! Love you my strong wife!! I love you!”
On Instagram, a video of Davido popping champagne at a waiting bay with friends in celebration has garnered over 23,000 views.
Families of the two lovebirds met a few weeks ago in an introduction ceremony said to have kick-started Davido and Chioma's wedding preparations.
According to the award-winning singer, their 2020 wedding will be a star-studded affair with R&B singer Chris Brown allegedly expressing interest to attend.
In an interview with Nigeria's Hot 97, Davido claimed that the Loyal crooner had requested to be one of the groomsmen.
“Chris say he wan dey my train oooo. Imagine Chris in attire!” He tweeted.
A huge development having popped the magical question to the Babcock University-trained economist on September 12 at an exclusive restaurant in London, United Kingdom.
