Popular PR practitioner and media personality Anyiko Owoko on Saturday wedded Tomas Maule in a traditional ceremony in Molo, Nakuru County.
Taking to Instagram, the former Sauti Sol publicist said that it was the best day of her life bringing together her family and the love of her life.
The traditional wedding ceremony also doubled up as a dowry paying ceremony for the top Kenyan publicist. The invite-only ceremony was attended by the likes of Sauti Sol, stylist Brian Babu among other close friends and family members.
In 2017, Anyiko disclosed details of how she met her now mzungu husband. Vividly narrating on social media, the former Grapevine presenter revealed that it took the efforts of friends, including Sauti Sol’s Bien, to bring them together.
“We don’t really know the exact (anniversary) date because we just kind of hit it off from Day 1. But that was actually after 100 days of friends cajoling us to be together.
Bien said, “You’ve got no idea how brilliant he is and how deep he can be.” True I didn’t,” narrated Anyiko, adding that “Love is graceful. Love is gracious. Love is Giving. Love is understanding. Love is selfless. Love is trust. Love is Patience. Love is Kind. Love is Empowering. Love is Respect. Love is Caring. Love is Sharing. It’s Fun. It’s Laughter. It’s Cuddling.
“It’s Breakups to Makeups. It’s also WWF because I’ve won a few times? Maybe once …? Just wanted to thank the Lord for the gift, and thank everyone who saw us fit for each other even before we ever had a real conversation. End of story.”
