Octopizzo continues to prove that he is not your average celeb setting the bar high this after he met the Swiss president.

Octopizzo met President Alain Berset on the sidelines as the Swiss Head of State was about to visit the Kakuma Refugee Camp.

“It was with great pleasure meeting the President of Switzerland His Excellency Alain Berset & Chat about #Refugeenius Program just before he visited Kakuma Refugee Camp,” he posted alongside a photo of himself and Swiss president.

The hip-hop artist who is also a youth activist is the founder of Octopizzo Foundation which is concerned with community outreach and youth empowerment.

Founded in 2015, in partnership with UNHCR, the Namba Nane artist has started a powerful initiative dubbed ‘Artists for Refugees’ which encompasses his love for music, the Arts and Culture working together with talented refugees.

Through his campaign, the artist has made an impact in many lives including the collaboration he had with over 20 refugees from Kakuma and Dadab camps for his ‘Refugeenius’ album which dropped in 2016.

The rapper has managed to meet who’s who in the world of politics and entertainment thanks to United Nations, The American Embassy in Kenya and The British Council in Kenya which has seen him attend most vital and global decision making forums on matters of youths and Arts.

The Swiss president, Alain Berset arrived in the country on Sunday for a three-day state visit to Kenya.
