Revellers in Kisumu were recently left in shock when a Cabinet Secretary (CS) had a call girl accompany him in the lake side city to a popular joint to entertain him as he sampled the city’s night life during the Devolution Conference held in Kakamega County at the end of last month.

The clearly tipsy State Officer made it his duty to announce to all and sundry that he was around, and with all the trappings of power.

The Grapevine has reliable learnt that the CS was moving in the city at the ungodly hours with all his official cars, including chase car and at some point threatened other road users for blocking “a big man” on the road.

The man was in the company of noisy youthful men.

This latest move comes weeks after a senior Jubilee politician was slapped with a bill of Sh1.7 billion by the taxman.

The move by Kenya Revenue Authority to go for senior officials in the Jubilee administration has set tongues wagging over what could be the motive of latest onslaught against tax evaders.
