A couple of weeks ago, the well-built man violently pulled the driver outside a meeting hall before landing on him with blows and slaps.
The incident happened during a county evening function when the driver stepped into the hall trying to locate his boss during an evening event.
The driver has since gone for two weeks from work and is said to be worried about the fate of his job.
Observers in the county government now say it is just a matter of time before the violent bodyguard does something that will deeply embarrass the governor.
