It’s all systems go! Diamond given green light to launch Wasafi TV

Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz has been given the greenlight to unleash his much publicised Wasafi TV and Radio stations.

Sharing the huge milestone to his over 4 million Instagram followers, Diamond revealed that he had been officially  handed broadcasting license for Wasafi TV and Wasafi FM by the Minister of Information, Culture, Tourism and Sports Zanzibar.

Diamond thanked Tanzania’s President John Pombe Magufuli noting that his goal in starting the venture was to create jobs for journalists whom he said are yet to be employed.

“Leo tulikabidhiwa Rasmi Leseni ya @wasafitv na @wasafifm na Mh Waziri wa Habari, Tamaduni, Utalii na Michezo Zanzibar mh Rashid Ali Juma.....Shukran Nyingi ziifikie Serikali ya Mapinduzi Zanzibar na Jamuhuri nzima ya Muungano wa Tanzania...Ma raisi wetu pendwa Dr John Pombe Magufuli & Dr Ali Mohammed Shein,” said Diamond.
