Kenyans who had reportedly donated to the National Super Alliance (NASA) and demanded their money back, may not get it after all.
This is after NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga stated that there would be no refunds to those who contributed to their pay bill.
Speaking to a local radio station, Odinga stated that NASA was not a bank and that the money was spent as soon as they were received.
Social media users had demanded a refund claiming that since Odinga had withdrawn his candidature for the top seat, they should be refunded their donations.
They argued that their donations through the pay bill was meant to finance his campaigns that had been scheduled by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) for the 26th of October.

Others however explained that Odinga’s withdrawal was temporary and was still in the race as soon as the IEBC calls for a fresh election.
NASA had after the Supreme Court ruling asked Kenyans to donate to their course and issued a pay bill number that would facilitate the collection. NASA reportedly received millions in the donations.
The opposition outfit had on Tuesday the 10th argued at their presser that their withdrawal from the race ultimately meant that a fresh election had to be called by the IEBC.
