A Ugandan musician colluded with a fellow singer to dupe a Kenyan star of Sh1.5 million last month in a saga that police are still trying to investigate. One of the Ugandan singers in question is a gospel singer who has lived in Nairobi before, while his buddy, the architect of the deal, is a recording artiste who has been in Nairobi on several occasions.

After getting tipped of a lucrative business deal, the award-winning Kenyan star trusted the Ugandan singer after he offered to purchase him a car, only to find out later that the car in question actually belonged to the gospel singer. The two culprits are now on the run.
