Ever since Octopizzo walked up onto the Groove Awards podium and handed out a gospel award for the Hip hop award of the year, he has been a topic of discussion with many wondering whether it was right for a secular artiste to awards gospel artistes yet they were from different industries.
Fast forward to last Sunday and Octopizzo had a word of advice for all those who thought he wasn’t good enough to partake in gospel activities.
“Nimetoka church,God akanisho you need (kneed ) me ka magoti...So nikipiga magoti only God Knows how my knees feel when am kneeling,so hata ukue na album kumi za Gospel Buda!! uezi nifundisha injili/..8:8:15 God loves me, he gave me the gift of punchlines."
To drive the point home he asked people to tag any gospel singer saying,“Tag a gospel artist and tell them to start winning souls.”
