Celebrated rumba singer Werrason arrived in the country yesterday ahead of his much-publicised twin concerts in Nairobi and Kisumu.
The singer who performs at Carnivore grounds tomorrow night (on Madaraka Day eve) and at Simba Club, Kisumu, on Saturday is accompanied by his 23-member band, Wenge Maison Mère.
Today, the star and his group will be rehearsing at Carnivore alongside local acts expected to perform alongside him among them Ohangla act Emma Jalamo, who is famed for songs Simba Jauriri and Adede.
Werrason last performed in Kenya in 2002.
