American rhythm and blues crooner, Freddie Jackson, came to Kenya on an invitation by prominent investor and celebrated polo player Raphael Nzomo who was celebrating his 50th birthday.

Nzomo, who was accompanied by his wife Patricia, joined the veteran singer on stage during the Saturday night show at Carnivore. Tickets were going for Sh20,000.

The emcee of the night, Maina Kageni, said Nzomo had invited Freddie Jackson for his birthday show before sharing the idea of having him perform for the public.
