It has been over a year since sources in the Mandela family confirmed that the traditional utski ceremony, meant to introduce a prospective bride to the family’s ancestors, was held.
South African media even reported that lobola (bride price) negotiations had been completed.
The last time we heard about the couple was during Mandela’s memorial service, which she attended together with her family.
