A woman landed in court for allegedly telling her neighbour that she gave ‘birth’ to a rat.
She risks spending close to one year behind bars if found guilty.
It is alleged that on March 8 at Kamukunji area, Caroline Mukami insulted her neighbour, Anne Muthoni, claiming she was a prostitute and had given birth to a rat.
The court heard that on the fateful day, Mukami, who lives a few blocks away from Muthoni, arrived home and rushed to the balcony where she started attacking Muthoni.
The two, according to neighbours, had long-term beef and the landlord had even threatened to evict them.
