A man who was clad in military uniforms and was harassing wananchi along an airstrip fence in Eastleigh has been arrested.

Wananchi called the police after they saw the shabbily dressed man in military fatigue. Joseph Gachuri was later charged at a Makadara court for keeping a military jungle trouser and a Kenya Army jacket. Police in Pangani further claimed they found Gachuri with 32 rolls of bhang. But he denied the charges saying he found the uniforms in a garbage site near the Moi Airbase in Eastleigh for Air Force officers of the Kenya Defence Forces.

He was released on a Sh60,000 bail. His trial begins on June 18.
