City’s top gynecologist wins award

One of Nairobi’s leading reproductive health specialist has won an award for his sterling performance this year.

Dr John Ong’ech was awarded with The 2013 Kirit Dave Manager of the year award.

Dr Ong’ech received the award at a gala dinner held at the Safari Park Hotel on November 8 and organised by Company of the Year Awards (Coya).

The gynecologist is the assistant director of reproductive health at Kenyatta National Hospital.

The Kirit Dave award is a memorable tribute in honour of the late Kisumu businessman.

The award ceremony was graced by Industrialisation Cabinet Secretary Adan Mohamed.

Coya is an annual event meant to recognise Kenya’s best performing organisations using the Organisational Performance Index (OPI) business excellence model.

Dr Ong’ech is a frequent contributor to The Nairobian’s health questions.
