KAKAMEGA: A man who sexually assaulted a pupil and left him with serious injuries in Mumias has been arrested.
It is alleged that the suspect lured the Standard Six pupil to his house by promising to buy him mandazi.
While confirming the incident, Officer Commanding Police Division at Mumias Police Station disclosed that preliminary examination report by doctors showed the boy was sodomised.
He said the suspect will be arraigned in court after investigations.
