Brain cancer warrior Jadudi aka Emmanuel Otieno is dead.
Reports reaching our desk indicate that the former University of Nairobi student lost his life at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Hospital, Kisumu, on Monday 4, March.
This was also confirmed by the Africa Cancer Foundation as the body mourned the loss of a fighter.
“We regret to inform you that Jadudi, a.k.a. Emmanuel Otieno, succumbed to brain cancer at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Hospital, Kisumu on the night of March 4, 2019.

“He was a real Shujaa! May God rest his soul in eternal peace and comfort his family. ACF mourns Jadudi,” read the tweet.
Jadudi had been ailing for almost seven years and his plight was highlighted by writer Bikozulu.
His story quickly went viral and Kenyans promptly responded by raising Sh6.4 million to cater for his treatment.
Jadudi was then taken to India where he underwent surgery to remove a growth in his brain. A year later, he was diagnosed with another tumor.
He has been in and out of hospital ever since and his demise has left many sad.
Kenyans on Twitter (KOT) were quick to pour in tributes, describing the deceased as a fighter who had a never-say-die spirit.
“Fare thee well. You fought the fight with bravery.”
“You tried to breath honey. You tried. Sleep well.”
“IF CANCER was to rate the warriors against it, it will have given the late Jadudi a special recognition. He took on cancer like a wounded lion would fight its prey. We celebrate your courage and resilience to live. You had full reason in your season on earth. Go well.”
“Rest in peace @Jadudi. You fought a long, hard fight. It is ok to rest now. We will never forget your courage.”
“Ah @Jadudi ... you fought like only you could. Now rest well. One day even this death will die.”
