Some residents of a county in the Rift Valley are increasingly getting tired with the false impression a popular politician from the region strives to portray.
The man in question, a sitting MP who has expressed interest in gunning for the gubernatorial seat in 2022 is said to always claim he is a staunch Christian.
In every meeting he attends the leader publicly proclaims that he is saved man, yet during his free time he is a regular customer at entertainment spots in his home-town where he is seen drinking heavily.
Pictures of the legislator enjoying his favourite drink with friends often find ways to social media, a matter that has confounded many.
“He should just be himself. There is absolutely no need for him to claim he is a strict Christian, yet he is a drunkard,” said a voter from the area.
