He explained how Raila was leading millions of supporters to ‘Canaan’ before making an abrupt turn, choosing the ‘handshake’ with President Uhuru and leaving millions stranded in the ‘wilderness’.
“Raila was leading 6.7 million people to Canaan. All of a sudden he made an about turn and abandoned his followers in the wilderness. The next time they heard of him he was at Harambee House doing a handshake with Pharaoh,” said the professor.
Ngunyi’s show, which usually features a team from the Fort Hall school of Government, saw several individuals critic the Harambee House handshake, saying most of Raila’s supporters, just like Miguna had been left all alone.
According to Ngunyi, the abandoned supporters found a new leader, a ‘Joshua’ in Miguna Miguna, who the government would make a ‘hero’ out of, just to spoil the organization in Raila’s support base.
“He has now become Joshua, a government project,” added Ngunyi.
He went on to give advice to Miguna, asking him not to resist deportations since they made him more ‘heroic.’
“Do not resist deportations. The more dramatic these deportations are, the more heroic you become,” said Ngunyi.
