President Uhuru Kenyatta successfully retained his seat after defeating NASA leader Raila Odinga by a margin of over one million votes.
NASA had earlier claimed that IEBC's KIEMS system had been hacked, leading to manipulation of presidential results in Uhuru's favour.
IEBC went on to deny the claims, saying that their system is fully protected and that hacking was attempted but didn't succeed.
At Bomas, leaders from several counties gathered awaiting IEBC's final verdict. What was strange was the manner in which they received and greeted each other!
With all the tempers and tension around the place, it was difficult to notice the rivalry between them as they exchanged hugs and laughed along, waiting for IEBC to make the final declaration.
