The former United States President Barack Obama, issued a statement urging Kenyans to vote peacefully during the August 8 general elections. He also urged Kenyan leaders to reject violence and incitement.
Mr Barack Obama who was in Kenya almost two years ago, told Kenyans that they should reject a politics of tribe and ethnicity.
Kenyans turned out in large numbers at various polling stations to vote for leaders of their choice. The August 8 2017 general election is said to be the most anticipated election in the history of all times with major candidates being President Uhuru Kenyatta and Former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga.
