The burial of Ugandan tycoon Ivan Semwanga, Zari’s ex-husband turned into a colorful ceremony with family and friends popping champagne as some threw bundles of money into his grave.

The businessman on Tuesday received a uniquely superb burial as his casket was covered with money in the celebratory mode that engraved his Kanyunga home in Uganda.

Diamond’s wife Zari Hassan did the unthinkable when Ivan was hospitalised at Steve Biko Academy Hospital in Pretoria South Africa by visiting him and staying by the side on his hospital bed until he died.

She described him as a special man who helped many and changed lives of people.

The two are said to have met in 2002 while in South Africa. At that time Zari used to run a salon at Van der Walt and Ivan had just started his businesses ventures.

Ivan succumbed to a heart attack.
