National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi’s sudden decision to denounce the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission report that was presented to him has shocked Kenyans.
This clearly illustrates the massive failure by those in public leadership positions to defend and protect Kenyan interests, and above all confirms the crises in leadership in Parliament and beyond.
Kenyans cannot just accept Muturi’s decision to denounce the graft report especially after he had earlier praised it and termed it as a “game changer in the war against graft in Parliament”.
This generation of MPs is not only Kenya’s public enemy number one but also poses a real and imminent threat to our national security, stability and the very survival of our motherland as a cohesive, united, prosperous and peaceful country.
