What did you say? No room to exercise is the reason you are unfit. Well here are 5 exercises you can divulge in that need less space. Go on, jump along that school hallway, or office corridor. Be active.
Tuck jump: Bend your knees slightly while standing and hold them in place with your hands. Jump as high as you can and land on the same posture. Repeat this as many times as you can.
Push-ups and sit ups: Fall on the ground just right where you are standing and do ten straight push-ups turn around and do ten sit ups without breaking. If you want more vigor, in an explosion, push up hard until the sweat breaks.
Arm circle: We all had P.E. lessons at some point in our lives. Stand upright with both hands stretched perpendicularly at the sides and slowly turn clockwise and anticlockwise for sixty seconds. This exercise is good when in the office or standing in a queue only be sure to step aside not to upset others.
Jumping Rope: I know you need space to swing the rope but you could try ‘ghost jumping’ as if you have a rope, mimicking what you would do with an actual rope in hand. Jump faster and higher as this will increase the heart rate. Also jump with one leg or try different steps to add on stamina.
Yoga: Our bodies became tired and tensed through rushing and about all day with no time to reflect and mediate. Yoga is a good way for stress relief, staying focused and anger management. Make the area you are in as quiet as possible, push away any tables and chairs around to avoid stumbling at them. Simply sit with your legs crossed and mediate.
Stair climb: Quit using the elevator every time you go into a building. Take the stairs! However don’t be lazy and sluggishly drag yourself up, run through. When going back down, start off with a run down the staircase. Be careful not to slip and land on your face.
