Nairobi, Kenya: Tom King’ori Wanderi from Alliance Boys’ High school hit the headlines immediately the Kenya Certificate of Secondary schools examination results were released after posting a sterling performance index of 87.1.
Wanderi emerged the top student beating over 400,000 contenders as Maranda High School’s Shem Obiero Aloo followed closely in second place with a performance index of 86.9 and the top girl Angela Nzisa Kivuva of Moi High School Kabarak came third at 86.9.
Precious Blood Riruta produced the fourth best candidate through Borus Norah Chelegat (86.9) as Nairobi School’s Osoro Brian came fifth at 86.9.
Mokogi Motanya Benson of Chavakali High in Vihiga and Makokha Kelvin Mwadime of Nairobi school followed with 86.9.
Maranda’s Gwala Fidel Odhiambo, Kenya High’s Biwott Brenda and Okonda Joseph of Alliance high followed with a mean performance index of 86.8.
