NAIROBI, KENYA: A gang poisoned two dogs at a private residence in Muthaiga area, Nairobi before stealing property and cash valued at more than Sh500,000.
The unknown number of thugs went to the home of Adna Devani on Sunday night, poisoned two dogs that were in the compound before they broke into her house and stole the valuables.
She told police she lost two television sets, two play stations, gold worth Sh120,000, an iphone and about 800 Euros.
Starehe OCPD Bernard Nyakwaka said the woman was in her house at the time of the incident.
"They cut the door grill before they went into the house where they stole the property. Efforts to trace them are ongoing," he said.
