Mombasa, Kenya: Two suspected terrorists who surrendered to the police on Tuesday and Wednesday have been remanded in police custody for five days.
The court had earlier been told that the two suspects were also being investigated over the attempted murder of Mombasa Urban Criminal Investigation Officer Victor Ndumba Thangalani.
The suspects are accused of shooting the DCIO in the stomach several times with a third suspect who has already been arraigned in court.
Mombasa Resident Magistrate Vicky Kachuodho issued the order as 13 other suspects who were arrested at Sakina Mosque and Musa Mosque denied charges of being in possession of eight hand grenades.
