My wife is seeing a witchdoctor

My wife is seeing a witchdoctor so that we can acquire wealth. Apparently, she is convinced that our family was bewitched and that the only way to get out of the situation is through black magic.

We are Christians and I am an official in our church. I have tried to talk her out of this, but she is just too stubborn.

She is convinced that that is how people are getting wealth nowadays. Please advice...

Musyoka, this is a serious matter that needs urgent intervention. Black magic has to do with the dark world and anybody who engages in it is part of that darkness. Your wife may be deeply immersed in this, so involve a pastor for total deliverance.

I know, for sure, that witchdoctors will never help you get wealth. What they do instead  is to lump more curses on you. Talk to a pastor to help you break this curse of poverty in your family.

This is a deep spiritual problem that only God can solve. If you are born again, I am sure you know what I am talking about.  Speak to your spouse about the word of God in love, and pray together. She needs to repent and turn to God. All things are possible if you believe.

There is more to this than you have told us. Has it occurred to you that your wife may be a devil worshipper? Another angle is that your wife may be visiting the witch doctor to get love concoction to tie you to her. Your wife may also be suffering from psychiatric problems. Seek help from a psychiatrist, family counsellor or pastor.

I am so sorry about your predicament. However, it is true most modern wealthy people, leaders and merchants engage the services of witch doctors to acquire weaith. But that is a deadly route.

My take:
The only way to get wealth is through hard work otherwise, those black magic practitioners would be living in exquisite mansions. If they can make wealth for you, wouldn’t it be more prudent for them to make it for themselves first? Your wife is being misled and the problem is that it will not stop with wealth. She will always be told of another love portion ‘to keep you wrapped around her finger’, ‘another one to help protect the family property.’
Involve a trusted third party and share all the facts. This should probably knock some sense into her, but also give her a stern warning and make it clear you will not be party to such a life. If you do not stem this now, it may escalate in future.
There will be a time the witch will ask for your child’s life. I am sure you don’t want to risk such kind of demands.
