Angela Ndambuki a.k.a Rabbo, one of the Tatuu singing trio tied the knot with her long time friend and fiancÈ Roy Mutungi on Saturday.

The wedding, which was one of the top kept showbiz secrets of the year, took place at St Austins Church, Lavington.

So surreptitious was the affair that even top acts in the showbiz industry did not even know the two were to solemnise their vows this year.

With about 200 guests at the reception party and an equal number at the evening party held in Karen, the newly weds lived to the glamour of the day as music rented the air and sweet pleasantries got exchanged.

It was a glitz fairytale affair, characterised with song, dance.

Among the best maids in their bridal procession were the bride’s fellow Tatuu singing group members Debbie Asila and Angela Mwandanda aka Shinde. The Ogopalets lived to their fame, spending half the time with pleasant programme interruption, as they mastered the floor with song and dance as they celebrated the day away. All night, they remained inseparable entertaining the guests and affirming that their come back plan is not just a fluke.

During the wedding church service, in accordance to Catholic church traditions, the priest, groom, and best man entered through a side door and wait at the altar.

The groomsmen and bridesmaids walked down in pairs. A flower girl gracefully walked through towards them before the bride and her parents walked in to an animated applause. The parents led her to the front of the aisle.

Angela and Roy, an entrepreneur, have been together for many years. Rabbo, Debbie and Shinde met in 1999 at Phoenix Players after they had finished school. Their love for acting brought them together. They danced for Kenyan star, Nameless in his music videos for Mannerless, Megarider and Majitu. They also participated in a Star Search dancing competition held at the Carnivore Restaurant in 2002. They are popular for their hit singles Teso, Haiya, Songea, Parapanda and Solophobia among others. At the time, they were known as Rada. Currently, they are pursuing solo singing projects.

Prezzo and Joey engaged!

After two months of media speculation, it is now clear that celebrated rapper CMB Prezzo and popular catwalk model Joey are a couple.

In a surprise and dramatic ceremony held at Club Galileos on Saturday evening, Prezzo hosted close friends to an all night "black and red" thrill during which he declared that Joey is "my First Lady".

"I am throwing a party for the First Lady at Galileo. The dress code is strictly black and red. You are most welcome." Prezzo had initially indicated in a message forwarded to his close friends.

Driven in a state-of-the-art car, the two arrived at the venue gorgeously dressed. They looked happy, exchanging heart-felt hugs and kisses as the mesmerised crowd watched in awe.

The move is a major surprise to many. It is barely four months after the Naleta Action singer attended a major concert with his estranged wife Daisy Kiplangat. It was the first time the two appeared in public, declaring that they were back together after 10 months of separation.
