Muslim elders overseeing the construction of a 40 million shilling Riyadh mosque in Pumwani, at the centre of controversy over Al Shabaab funding, have denied claims they have been channeling monies to the terror group. The leaders however acknowledge that Amiir Ahmed, who is linked to Al Shabaab, was once the secretary of the mosque.
