Barely a month since number portability was introduced in the country, the row between operators expected to adhere to its rules is far from over. Safaricom is now accusing porting access of bending its own rules, as far as being financed by competitor Airtel to paint Safaricm as a saboteur to the process. Airtel that has received the highest recorded number of customers porting from other networks, maintains that customers from Safaricom are still unable to receive calls from Safaricom and holds that Safaricom is trying to avert attention by focusing on non issues.
