If there is one man who will end “Njaaanuary” with a smile, it is Kenneth Okoth.
Okoth, a tour operator and father of three, is the first winner of the Sh10 million Mozzart Bet Daily Jackpot. He won Sh 10 million after betting Sh 50 and correctly predicting results of 13 matches.
Okoth, who hails from Ugenya, Siaya County, is the first winner of the Mozzart Bet Daily Jackpot.
January is certainly a lucky month for Okoth. He placed a bet daily without giving up. On Tuesday 22nd January, he placed the lucky bet and waited for over 24 hours before all the 13 matches were played. The penultimate match was in Ligue 1 France between Nimes and Angers which he had correctly wagered would go to home team Nimes.
He also won Sh 500 the same day by correctly predicting the result of nine matches in the Mozzart Bet daily Jackpot.

How Okoth will spend the money
Okoth plans to share the windfall with his three children and also boost his wife’s business. “I have their (kids) bank accounts here with me,” Okoth said.
His eldest child is in Pwani University while the second born sat KCSE in 2018 and is waiting to join university. The last born is in Standard 7. “Immediately the money hits my bank account, I am going to transfer the money to their accounts,” he told Game Yetu.
Okoth who runs a tour firm in Hurlingham, Nairobi will also share part of his lucky win with his Catholic church in Kawangware, Nairobi and then purchase a plot in Busia town before spending the balance on expanding the his business.
