Boxing Association of Kenya (BAK) will send a formidable squad for the World Boxing Championships in Hamburg, Germany, in September.
The national body has come up with stringent measures of picking consistent players. The selection will be determined by boxers' performance in all National Boxing League legs.
BAK Vice President Albert Matito said the first leg, which was in Kisumu last weekend, offered boxers an opportunity to fight for the available 10 slots.
"This team will be picked on merit and consistency of a player in all legs of the league will play a role in their selection.
