Arsenal set to complete deal for Portuguese star in next 48 hours

The teenage playmaker used to be at Chelsea, but quit the club after growing frustrated at a lack of progress towards the senior side

Arsenal are hoping to seal a deal for Portuguese starlet Domingos Quina in the next 48 hours.

Teenage midfielder Quina, 16, has quit Chelsea and Arsenal have made an offer to sign him.

Manchester United and Tottenham have also been keen on Quina , who left Chelsea after getting frustrated at a lack of progress towards the first team.

Quina is regarded as one of Portugal's best young talents and Arsenal hope to tie up the finer details in the next couple of days.

Chelsea signed Quina as a 13-year-old from Benfica and he was seen as one of the club’s best young talents.
