Floyd Mayweather says he does NOT want a rematch with Manny Pacquiao
The American beat Pacquiao on points on May 2 in the richest fight in boxing history. Many predicted Mayweather would win but few saw it being so comfortable.
After the fight, Pacquiao revealed that he sustained a shoulder injury in the build-up to the fight, which had hampered him.
Mayweather initially suggested he would be prepared to offer the Filipino a rematch. That offer, though, seems to have disappeared.
"Did I text Stephen A. Smith and say I will fight [Pacquiao] again? Yeah, but I changed my mind," Mayweather told Showtime.
"At this particular time, no [I don't want a rematch] because he's a sore loser and he's a coward... If you lost, accept the loss and say, 'Mayweather, you were the better fighter.'
"Excuses, excuses, excuses," said Mayweather. "I'm not going to buy into the bull**** and I don’t want the public to buy into the bul****. He lost. He knows he lost. I lost a lot of respect for him after all of this."
