The sudden death of Tanzania’s bongo star Albert Mangwea aka Mangwair on Tuesday, while on tour in South Africa , caused a stir with many indications pointing to drug overdose as the cause of death.
The star was found in his room together with another artiste M to the P, who reportedly also died on Wednesday.
According to Willy M Tuva, who is quite familiar with bongo artisted, the cause of death became certain when a DR. Radcliffe of Hellen Joseph Hospital in Johannesburg, South Africa listed Drug Overdose as the cause.
Preparations are already at hand in Tanzania to have the body flown back from South Africa, and will be received at Dar es Salaam’s Mbezi Beach. Further reports indicate that he is set to be buried in Morogoro, the same place his father was buried.
