A member of parliament from Western Kenya has abandoned his village home for the city after bats invaded his home. The bats have destroyed a section of the ceiling board making the house inhabitable. The MP claims his house has been bewitched by an opponent in the August 9 General Election while some villagers are pointing fingers at a local long known for using black magic to bring down those who succeed in life.
The MP has tried a number of remedies including inviting a witchdoctor to scare away the bats using juju to no avail. The bats have peed on the ceiling, the walls and literally everywhere making the whole house to smell.
