In Kericho County, roaming donkeys and cows obstruct motorists on the roads.
The animals can be found standing for hours along the Kericho-Nakuru highway just metres from Kericho Police Station.
Kericho businessmen Lawrence Bett and Nick Koros, blamed the county government for failing to take stern action against residents keeping domestic animals in town estates.
"There are tens of donkeys and cattle, which roam freely on the streets causing obstruction and inconvenience for road users.

The animals also contribute to the mess in the town through their droppings," said Mr Bett.
Bureti MP Leonard Sang said the only way to reduce road accidents was by obeying traffic laws.
"Traffic measures cannot achieve much unless every motorist and other road users obey all traffic rules," he said.
